A very hansome, almost perfect shoe.
Beautiful shoe.Perhaps a little hot and makes a slight sound when walking. Since the bottom is ridged, it really squeaks after stepping into water.Still, it may be the best dress shoe I've ever had. The price was very good, the leather and stitching looks great. It has been wearing incredibly well. The bottom is like soft rubber yet extremely durable.I have received a lot of complements. Also it's easy to find a matching belt.The price on Amazon swings from about $60 to $120. A steal at the low price. Put it in your cart and wait for a drop.

J&M Bicycle Oxford Shoes are Great
I had always purchased Johnston & Murphy dress shoes for work and have always been very happy with the quality, durability, and style. I needed a rubber soled shoes that looked good and is high quality. Well, I looked again for Johnston & Murphy and bought the Shuler Bicycle Toe Oxford.Wow, was I pleasantly surprised as to how comfortable these shoes are. They are truly the most comfortable work shoe I have ever purchased. In addition, they are stylish and I have gotten quite a few compliments.The shoe has comfort padding all throughout. Your foot feels like it is riding on a cloud. It is not too heavy or too light. The sole has plenty of tread and ridges, which prevents slipping in water and when walking on a smooth surface covered with sawdust. The outside of the shoe has a texture, which I was unsure of when I first got them. Then, I learned to love them because they provide a lot of character. Perfect for commuting
I ride my bike to work. It's an eight mile ride so I don't change clothes, I just bike in with whatever I'm wearing to the office. I wear dress shoes and these clips really allow me climb hills without scuffing or wearing out my nice shoes. I find that I'm also able step out of these at a red light with ease.They only took a few minutes to attach to my pedals. I've been using them for about eight weeks with no trouble.When I'm really climbing, I can feel the flex of the plastic. This doesn't present a problem for me, but I suspect a serious mountain biker would probably want something more rigid. But for riding to work; these are a great fit.

Great for commuting, and urban cycling.
I started biking again 2 months ago. When I bought my Trek bike it came with a set of Crank Bros Eggbeaters, which I didn't find practical for NYC urban riding. The first thing is that you have to make sure you have platform pedals with the proper screw holes which will allow you to install these clips. I bought a pair of MKS Sylvan Touring Pedals from Amazon.com and I'm very satisfied.As soon as I put my feet inside the clips I could feel a difference. Yes, it does help you a lot when you pedaling. My pattern is now more uniform, and I'm inputting energy whether I'm pushing the pedal down or pulling up. It's very easy to take my feet out of them too, which is very importing if you bike in a area like NYC. It took me less than a few minutes to learn how to insert my feet in the clips and although this was my first ride with them I can do it without even looking down most times.Also, I keep my right foot in when I have to stop and only take my left foot out,...

Great Item - Great Value
These clips are great - very easy to install. The provided hardware makes them fit just about any pedal, and are adjustable in and out so your feet clear the cranks. You cant beat them for the price, and I find them far superior to the older strap style.

great but could be much better
the whole point of having these clips is to keep the toddler's feet attached to the tricycle if he doesn't want to and you need to get home without him dragging his feet on the pavement.they don't work for our son if we tie them on top of his feet, but they work great if we tie them behind his heels. with sneakers on, the strap stays on quite well and he doesn't seem to mind it. with sandals he hates it!but since there's nothing else out there, and you need to have the feet up, they work!

Keep my toes warm!
I bought these for fall/spring use to keep the toes warm. I like there low-profile look, that they go on very easily, and stay snug when riding. They perform best in 46-64 degree F weather (depending on conditions) and will last a long time if used properly. I have used them mountain biking (trail/xc riding) and they held up fine, though they are best for road use. I have the large size and they fit my 9.5/43.5 sidi shoes just fine.
